By using SunCarta, you agree to use it lawfully and to respect third-party map and data licenses. You may use the public tools for personal or commercial planning, subject to these terms and any attribution displayed in the product.
Estimates, not guarantees
Solar position is calculated from standard astronomical approximations. Real-world shadows depend on geometry and conditions that may be missing, estimated, outdated or entered incorrectly. SunCarta does not guarantee sunlight, property value, plant performance, photographic conditions, event comfort or solar-energy production.
Professional and safety decisions
Do not use SunCarta as a substitute for a boundary survey, architectural study, structural design, code review, legal solar-access opinion, medical UV guidance, heat-risk assessment or bankable photovoltaic analysis. Verify consequential decisions with qualified professionals and site observations.
Availability and third-party services
Map tiles, place search and other third-party services can change, rate-limit requests or become unavailable. SunCarta may replace providers, change coverage or suspend a feature without guaranteeing uninterrupted service.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SunCarta is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, fitness or uninterrupted availability. You remain responsible for how you interpret and act on an estimate.
